About AIC's Online Member Community

As you may have seen in AIC News or heard from colleagues, AIC is launching a new online community utilizing a cloud-based platform called Higher Logic.

AIC’s Online Community is replacing Memberfuse; it has a more modern interface and will improve access to conversation by allowing you to respond to posts with an email reply. (Plus it's much easier to find and log into!) The community features an AIC member-only forum and a resource library to give members easy access to a variety of AIC and FAIC publications and research. We hope to eventually bring most of our resources and online platforms together in one place to reduce your time spent searching across many online places for AIC’s and FAIC’s supported content.

We launched this all-member forum on Tuesday, May 8.

We also plan to roll out, over time, smaller communities for each specialty group and network that will replace the older listservs hosted on CoOL. Each of these communities will be able host their own resources, such as meeting minutes, videos, historical documents, best practices, and images. FAIC also has plans to move discussion forums to this platform.

If you’re attending AIC’s Annual Meeting, you already have access to the 46th Annual Meeting discussion forum. Don’t miss out on great tips for the meeting -- start connecting with your fellow attendees now!

We would also like to thank the members who helped us test the platform as well as everyone who participated in the survey to inform the structure and use of our community. We’re so excited for you to start using this new platform and hope it will be a powerful new tool for you to connect, collaborate, and learn!
