We are working with speakers to develop the program for the upcoming virtual meeting. It will include a selection of talks from the original in-person program. As we begin planning, we may have to shift programming, but we will update these pages as we learn more. The below button shares our original in-person program that was planned for Salt Lake City in 2020.
New Program (Developing) Original In-Person Program
Our opening general session contains talks that address our meeting theme, "Conservation: Reactive and Proactive." We also plan to offer several concurrent general session tracks that further explore the theme.
These delve more specifically into the conference theme and explore topics pertaining to different aspects of conservation. Joint sessions address the intersection of those specialties.
Workshops, Seminars, Lunch & Learns, and Pre-sessions
Our new virtual program will not include our planned lunch & learns or seminars. We are planning to host some workshops online as part of the meeting; registration will be separate.
We are planning to host at least one of the planned pre-sessions virtually.
All ticket purchases for workshops, seminars, and lunches will be refunded.
All posters accepted for the 2020 meeting will be invited to present in 2021. We will feature about 10 poster presentations during the virtual meeting, along with a Q&A with the authors.
